I recently visited All' Antico Vinaio and had a great experience. What I liked: The food was great. The sandwich is a good size for 2 people and the ingredients are fresh. Even though there was a lot of mortadella and pistachio cream, it didn't feel too heavy after each of us finished our halves. What could be improved: The sandwiches are a bit pricey, and ours was $18. One suggestion I have is to have the English name underneath each ingredient that was displayed, and I'd also suggest adding a star or something on their overhead menu to see what customer/employee favorites are. Overall, All' Antico Vinaio is a place worth a visit. Would I return? Maybe, but the hesitancy is mostly the pricing.
I tried this casual sandwich restaurant yesterday for lunch. It was small, clean and brightly lit, with some indoor and outdoor seating. They had an amazing and unique sandwich collection with their in-house made toppings. I had the La Paradiso sandwich - amazing sliced meats on their in-house made ciabatta bread with something I'd never heard of. There was a magical spread on that sandwich called pistachio cream. I've never had anything like it. That sandwich was amazing! Uniqueness and size of the sandwiches are worth the price. My friend and I could each only finish half of our sandwiches. Which was fine with me. I was happy to have the rest of mine for lunch today. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place. Oh... and it is in a newly built up area near IKEA that has lots of bars, restaurants, shops, and a central courtyard. I will go there again! Be aware though, parking isn't cheap.
Very large sandwiches, on the pricey side but very filling. They are all very good and you can taste the quality. My only complaint would be that you do get a lot of bread. The bread is good but ours was a little on the darker side. There is a lot of outdoor seating at the restaurant and around it. We were lucky to not have a line on a Sunday around 1pm. I would most likely come back and try another sandwich but maybe enjoy it by removing one side of bread.
I've heard nothing but good things from this restaurant so we made a little detour of this strip to check this out on a recent visit. I will say that the sandwiches are massively huge. Like my partner and I could've shared one. The hard thing is is there's so many wonderful options. You wanna taste them all. For this reason, I can't tell you what to get. I will say we got a sandwich with with eggplant on it and we had a sandwich with pistachio cream. Both of them were delicious again. They are big so make sure you can take leftovers. I also ordered ahead so that when we arrived, they were done. The line wasn't too long, but I've heard the lines can be long. The only thing about ordering ahead is I didn't really know what to get and maybe if I had been there and seen things I may have changed my mind, but who knows.
I've only had the opportunity to "travel" to Florence from the comforts of my living room while watching travel vlogs on YouTube, which is where I first learned of this "legendary sandwich shop." We were back in town visiting the family. My SIL could not stop raving about this place and kept saying, "You guys have to try their sandwiches.", so off we went! LOL. We got there around 4:30pm-ish. We must have come at the perfect time because my SIL said the line is usually out the door. Modern interior with counter seating along the windows, and a few tables inside and out. The staff were all smiles and helpful. We opted to sit outside since the sun was blocked by surrounding buildings, which felt pleasant. Order up: La Paradaiso La Summer Calvino (special) These sandwiches were massive! The Tuscan schiacciata bread was fresh with the perfect crunch yet soft inside (wow!). The different varieties of thinly sliced meats in each were generously piled in there! For me, the different cream spreads totally make the sandwiches, but we enjoyed them nonetheless! The A'Siliana Limonata I had was refreshing and definitely helped wash down each bite! Hoping to enjoy them one day in actual Florence, but for now we were blessed to have tried them in Vegas! Cheers and happy eating till next time!
We went to All'Antico Vinaio for lunch yesterday. The place is away from the strip tucked in a place with other restaurants off the 215 and Durango. There's 2 hours free parking. I walked in and placed my order with one of the staff preparing the sandwich. The meat was sliced to order. I had my Venice sandwich without tomatoes and added olive oil. I requested the sandwich cut in half to share with my wife The Venice sandwich was awesome. The bread was fresh and there was ample turkey. The cost was only $17. Amazing! DJ's rating: 4.60/5.00 Would I come back? Definitely Yes.
It's a good think there is not one of these sandwich shops where I live. I would be there at least weekly. I like many others first saw this sandwich shop on Instagram. I was so excited when this location opened. I knew it would be one of my stops if I went to Vegas. Well, on a whim we decided to come for a few days. You better believe, this was literally my first stop once I was in Nevada. I was a little confused how ordering worked when I arrived, but when the sandwich maker called out next, I asked everyone in front of me and they already had ordered with their designated sandwich maker. I ordered the Paradiso, I am a huge mortadella fan, add pistachio and I'm in heaven. My sandwich was done is about a minute and I was on my way to pay and out the door. It was very easy and fairly quick. I ate my sandwich about 15 minutes later and regret filled me instantly, I should have ordered two! The bread was soft and warm, the mortadella was perfect and the pistachio cream was something completely unexpected. To say it was pistachio cream made me think of a white cream sauce with pistachio, NO, this was more a pistachio butter and then more pistachios layered on top of it. The cheese that is added is also a perfect compliment. I don't even have words to describe how unbelievably good this sandwich is. Well two days later on my way out of Vegas we stopped here again. I of course ordered another Paradiso, but also opted for the Smokey as well. The Smokey was good, but honestly I preferred the Paradiso, it's like that sandwich was made for me. All employees were fantastic. They are very welcoming and are happy to answer any questions. They even let us try a couple different types of prosciutto type meets to really understand the differences. There isn't a whole lot of parking, but both visits I was able to find parking very close by.
Lo and behold, the sandwich spot I've had my eyes on ever since that random reel showed up on my feed. This has been on my list of must try for a while. I finally got it! What do retired party people do when they go to Vegas? Watch a show, go to the pool, & just eat. This is exactly what we did on this trip. This location is a little bit of a drive from the strip & the main "stuff" in Vegas. But we love venturing to find these places. This is at the Uncommons - their up & coming work, eat, play / mixed use space. Tons of eateries, fitness, & just nice common spaces. Overwhelmed with the options since they all sounded good, we asked the lady to choose her top 2 and we went with that. The bread was nice & fresh (although not piping hot with steam breathing out of it like their IG videos, HAHA). LA SCHIACCIATA DEL BOSS (Prosciutto toscano, pecorino toscano, truffle cream) - I added sundried tomatoes and the LA PARADISO (Mortadella, stracciatella, pistachio cream, pistachio). I loved the Del Boss. They really don't skimp on the meats. They slice it directly on to your sandwich. I was skeptical about pistachio in my sandwich but man, that pistachio cream & actual pistachios are a game changer. So. So. Good! Albeit on the pricier side, $18-25, but easily shared between two. My tastebuds and I are so happy to finally have this. I wish they'd open one in OC. Was it worth the hype? Like 85%. It's definitely something new & it's good. But if there was a long line, I probably wouldn't wait.
Outstanding!!!! You have to come here!! This place is clean, clean, clean, clean! They don't have very many things on the menu, but you still find yourself going through every little tiny detail trying to figure out which one you want! Everything is so fresh, meats are sliced right in front of you! The staff here is ridiculously helpful! There are gonna be some things on the menu that the average American will have no idea about. They have lots of Italian spread options and they try to make this as authentic as possible! This is definitely not a place for desserts! They don't have their gelato yet, and they only have one dessert option that they serve during breakfast ( because that's traditional ). The one thing I will say is please don't ask them to put anything on the side. They can only cut your sandwiches in half not more than that... I love that they don't do that. Also if you wanted a side of truffle spread or Gonzalez spread that's not gonna be an option for you. if you want sun-dried tomatoes on the side zucchini on the side or roasted eggplant, none of that is allowed to be on the side. my take on this, just put it on the sandwich! It's stinking delicious. You're not gonna regret it. I feel like any combination of meat spread. You're gonna love no matter what! This place is amazing. I will be back again again and again and again! Thank you all for making my first experience here the best Italian sandwich spot I had in Vegas to date! Parking here can be a little tricky when you are hitting this place at peak times! So make sure that you call in your order or park in the parking garage.
